Visiting The Tate Modern

End of January I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit the Tate Modern. I only had a couple of hours so wasn’t able to see all there was to offer but what I did see was so interesting.

Bridget Riley’s work (1980)

The next few paintings I decided to photograph as I felt they were relevant to my project at the current time (elephants) on these paintings the artists are exploring different ways to create texture which is what I am doing so I found this extremely helpful and interesting.

The first one is done by an artist called Hamed Abdalla and he titled this piece of work Defeat (1963) to create all the unusual textures he used a combination of silver, aluminium, tar and oil paint.
